DL7480 - The only 500MHz 8CH Scope Out There!

Yokogawa has a long history of truly unique innovations unmatched by any rivals. Just one example of such heritage is realized through the existence of the only 500MHz 8+16 CH MSO on the market. While MSO's are nothing new and rapidly increasing the amount of logic channel capability, no other scope out there is capable of delivering 8 analog channels at 500MHz! In addition the DL7480 offers 16CH's of mixed signal analysis, serial bus decoding (I2C, SPI, CAN, and FlexRay), Power Analysis, User Defined Math, and best of all 16M pts of deep acquisition memory!

DL9000/DLM6000/DLM2000 - Operating Systems

While many digital oscilloscopes today rely on windows based operating systems which have proven to be at times unreliable and susceptible to viruses, have slower processing performance, and HDD crashes resulting in loss of data or even complete functionality of the oscilloscope, Yokogawa has steered clear of making these same mistakes and continues to use embedded systems. The DL9000, DLM6000, and DLM2000 DSO/MSO's all have embedded operating systems that process data much faster (even with multiple functions running simultaneously). These instruments are also much more reliable, unlikely to be the victim of a virus, and power up in less than 15 seconds. Acquisition memory and any optional HDD or flash memory can be completely wiped clean and sanitized via a Sure Delete function so use in classified areas or applications are worry free!

High Voltage Differential Probes

Yokogawa offers a wide array of low to high voltage differential probes for use with Yokogawa digital oscilloscopes. For high voltage applications where a balanced differential probe is needed the 701926 probe offers 1000:1 and 100:1 attenuation (7kV peak) with a bandwidth from DC-50MHz. It can operate on battery power, powered from an external power supply, or directly from any Yokogawa oscilloscope's power ports.

DL750 - DC Powered

The Yokogawa DL750 has a 12V DC power supply option. Adding this option enables the DL750 to run on 10-18V DC power as well as 100-120V or 200-240V AC. AC and DC can be used together to provide high reliability and a power supply backup system for long term testing. When both are used simultaneously AC takes priority over DC. The DL750 instantly switches to DC if the AC power goes down without interrupting the measurement. Along with this option a 10-18V battery (such as a car battery) is needed. Other benefits of the DC option include low emission noise and low power consumption.

MX100 and MW100 30CH Input Modules

The Yokogawa MX100 and MW100 low speed data acquisition systems have a large variety of input and output modules available. Each module varies based on channel count, scan speed, types of connections (screw VS clamp) and what kind of inputs the module can handle. The most common module is the 10CH Universal Input module. It can handle DC voltages, DC currents, thermocouples, RTD's, and DI's. There is also a 30CH version of the Universal input module. The key differences between the 10CH and 30CH modules are:

  • Fastest scan speed on the 30CH module is 500ms whereas the 10CH module can scan as fast as 100ms

  • No RTD inputs are available on the 30CH module

  • The 30CH module comes either with a fixed screw or clamp terminal whereas the 10CH module can be used with a clamp, screw, 10 ohm, 100 ohm, or 250 ohm terminal

WT3000 - Voltage Fluctuation and Flicker Measurement

The Yokogawa WT3000 is capable of making voltage fluctuation and flicker measurements conforming to IEC61000-3-3 and IEC61000-3-11. It can measure relative steady-state voltage change (dc), maximum relative voltage change (dmax), relative voltage change time (dt), short-term flicker value (Pst), and long-term flicker value (Plt). The limit values set forth for the individual parameters are in accordance with the IEC standard. The voltage fluctuation and flicker measurement option (/FL) on the WT3000 can be used stand alone the make Pass/Fail judgement calls of dc, dmax, dt, Pst, and Plt for a given observation period. Using optional harmonic/flicker measurement software for the PC (761922), you can display trend graphs, CPF graphs, or reports of the dc, dmax, and IFS (instantaneous flicker sensation) values in addition to the WT3000 judgement results.

DSO/MSO's - Dual Serial Bus Decoding

Practically all Yokogawa DL and SB series DSO's and MSO's can decode up to two different serial busses simultaneously when equipped with the serial bus decode package. You can analyze two CAN bus signals with different conditions (for example, Hi-Speed and Low-Speed CAN) and display the analysis results along with waveforms. You can then correlate between the upstream data (backbone) network CAN bus and the downstream (sub) network. This can also be applied to any two of the available serial busses such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, and even FlexRay. FlexRay is available only on the SB5000 and DLM2000 series scopes. Some serial busses can be triggered and decoded using both the analog input CH's or logic input CH's.
